The law firm of Oakes & Fosher is presently investigating the alleged misconduct of former securities broker Vicente Davila. According to his publicly available FINRA BrokerCheck report, Vicente Davila has been the subject of a customer dispute.

Vicente Davila was a Texas based securities broker. He worked in the securities industry for a total of eight years. During his career, he was registered with three different securities firms. He is not currently working as a registered securities broker in any fashion.

His Registrations

  • Barclays Capital (2002)
  • Merrill Lynch (2009-2016)
  • Morgan Stanley (2016-2018)

The Allegations

Vicente Davila’s publicly available FINRA BrokerCheck report shows that he allegedly received a loan from a customer at his member firm. This was in direct violation of his member firm’s policies. He also allegedly converted additional funds from the customer after making subsequent transfers from the customers account into personal accounts held by himself and his wife. These unapproved transfers were made after the original loan. Due to these allegations, the customer complained to the firm and was awarded $77,684 in damages. Due to these allegations, Vicente Davila was also terminated from his position at Morgan Stanley.

He was eventually barred by FINRA from acting as a securities broker in any fashion.
