The law firm of Oakes & Fosher is presently investigating the alleged misconduct of former securities broker Maria Tamburro. According to her publicly available FINRA BrokerCheck report, Maria Tamburro has been the subject of a FINRA sanction.

Maria Tamburro was New Jersey based securities broker. She worked in the securities industry for four years. She spent her entire career registered with Ameriprise Financial Services.

The Allegations

Maria Tamburro was officially sanctioned by FINRA in May 2018. This was due to allegations that she made unauthorized trades in multiple customers accounts. The unauthorized trades totaled approximately $260,000. She earned herself $7,549 in commission for the unauthorized trades. Due to these allegations, she was barred from acting as a securities broker in any fashion.
