The law firm of Oakes & Fosher is presently investigating the alleged misconduct of former securities broker Charla Kabana. According to her publicly available FINRA BrokerCheck report, Charla Kabana has been the subject of a FINRA sanction.

Charla Kabana was a California based securities broker. She worked in the securities industry for thirty-one years. During her career, she was registered with eight different securities firms. She is no longer working as a registered securities broker in any fashion.

Her Registrations

  • Wedbush Securities (1986-1988)
  • Integrated Resources Investment Centers (1988-1989)
  • Griffin Financial Services (1989-1991, 1993-1994)
  • ASB Financial Services (1991-1992)
  • Marketing One Securities (1992-1993, 1994-1997)
  • WM Financial (1997-2007)
  • LPL Financial (2007-2016)
  • Sagepoint Financial (2016-2018)

The Allegations

Charla Kabana was officially sanctioned by FINRA in August 2018. The findings in this matter state that FINRA had opened up an investigation into the details of her termination from LPL Financial. Her former member firm had expressed concerns that she executed unsuitable variable annuity transactions. Charla Kabana allegedly failed to comply with the investigation and was thus barred by FINRA from acting as a securities broker in any fashion.
