In January 2019, a customer alleged that funds were transferred from one of her accounts to fund a life insurance policy. This was allegedly done without authorization from the customer. The customer also alleged that Tarjanyi fraudulently forged her signature on the policy documents. This case is currently pending. The customer is seeking $150,000 in damages.
In February 2019, customers alleged that they purchased unsuitable annuities based on Tarjanyi’s recommendation. This case was settled for $141,275.75 in damages.
Also in February 2019, a customer alleged that Ryan Tarjanyi forged their signature to open an annuity.
