Justin Parker was a California based securities broker. He worked in the securities industry for sixteen years. During his career, he was registered with two different securities firms. They were M.L. Stern & Co. (2001-2008) and Hilltop Securities (2008-2017). He is no longer working as a registered securities broker in any fashion.
Justin Parker’s publicly available FINRA BrokerCheck report shows that he has received multiple customer complaints over the course of his career. In August 2017, a customer, through his attorney, alleged unsuitable recommendations, unsuitable use of margin, churning, financial exploitation, elder abuse, breach of fiduciary duty, excessive trading, misrepresentation, and excessive mark-up/mark-down with respect to municipal bond and UIT trades executed in the account. This case is currently pending. The customer is seeking $9,500,000 in damages.
Also in August 2017, a customer alleged that Parker misrepresented two UIT investments by failing to provide full disclosure regarding the fees and risks of the investments.
In July 2018, a customer alleged unsuitable recommendations, misrepresentation, and excessive trading. This case was settled for $100,000 in damages.
