Dwight West Allegedly Fails To Communicate With Customers On Multiple Occasions

Dwight West is a Colorado-based securities broker. He has worked in the securities industry for thirty-six years. During his career, he has been registered with eight different securities firms.

His registrations include; Drexel Burnham Lambert Inc. (1982-1983), Interstate Securities (1983-1988), Raymond James & Associates (1988), Shearson Lehman Hutton (1988-1990), Painewebber Incorporated (1990-1997), Morgan Stanley (1997-2009), and UBS Financial Services (2009-Present).

Dwight West’s publicly available FINRA BrokerCheck report shows that he has received multiple customer complaints over the course of his career.

In February 1993, a customer alleged unsuitable investments. This case was settled for $30,000 in damages.

In September 1999, a customer alleged miscommunication that resulted in loss.

In December 1999, customers alleged common law and statutory securities violations concerning equities purchased between 1997 and 1999. This case was settled for $225,000 in damages.

In May 2018, an elderly customer, through her son, alleged unsuitable recommendations, unauthorized trading, abandonment of account, and failure to communicate. This case was settled for $19,890 in damages.
