Carlos Rodriguez was a Texas based securities broker. He worked in the securities industry for thirteen years. During his career, he was registered with two different securities firms.
His registrations included; UBS Financial Services (2002-2006, 2009-2015) and Merrill Lynch (2006-2009). He is no longer working as a registered securities broker in any fashion.
Carlos Rodriguez’ publicly available FINRA BrokerCheck report shows that he has received multiple customer complaints over the course of his career.
In October 2014, a customer alleged unauthorized trading, unsuitable trading, and misrepresentation.
In September 2015, a customer alleged that Rodriguez stole his money. He also alleged unauthorized trading and unsuitable trading.
In May 2017, customers alleged churning, misrepresentation, and unsuitable recommendations to invest in options, mutual funds, and private outside business ventures. This case was settled for $500,000 in damages.
In November 2018, customers alleged unauthorized trading, unsuitable trading, and unsuitable recommendations. This case is currently pending.
Carlos Rodriguez was eventually barred by FINRA from acting as a securities broker in any fashion.
